We know that our business is only as good as our people. That is why we have designed a business support division to offer first class support, guidance, and advice.
We have a strong organisational structure with support teams across all relevant departments to make our franchisees successful or more successful!
Operational Support:
Our support offers a variety of business needs, from providing advice and help for you to start up your Bluebird Care business to support throughout your Franchise Agreement. See below some examples of tools you have access to:

- Intranet for support in all departments, with updated policies and procedures
- Partner approved roistering system software both customer facing and internal use
- Our unique financial benchmarking tool
- Internal monthly communication to all franchisees
Quality & Compliance Support:
Quality is the DNA of our business, it is therefore extremely important we make sure all our franchisees all fully compliant and operating at high and safe standards. We hold regular quality and compliance audits, which every partner is scored on and provided with action points they need to organise. In the future we will be looking into a self-auditing system.
Network support:
There is no “I” in Team at Bluebird Care, the power of our network provides a sharing culture environment where we share best practices, experiences, and intellectual property to help and maintain our award-winning statue. As a franchisee you have access to the collective expertise of over 220 businesses across our network. We aim to facilitate knowledge sharing on specific topics pertinent to your business through online workshops we hold for all our network. On the other hand as franchisors, it is key, we listen to our owners, hence why we have regular Franchisee Network committee meetings and conferences to shed light on where we can improve and better ourselves.
Onboarding Support:
As a new franchisee you have access to a dedicated Onboarding Manager who will be on hand to support within the first 24 months of starting your business to growing the business into an established territory. Below lists some examples of that support:
- 8 Day Franchise Owner Training, consisting of 2/3 days with a franchise mentor learning day-today operations of the business
- Entire business set-up support
- Support & guidance in finding premises
- Recruitment support
- Full support with your regulatory registration
IT Support
In terms of day-to-day IT support, you have access to our IT partners who can provide a range of support for your needs. For new franchisees we also pay and provide a roistering and care plan solution for 15 users for the first year.
Marketing Support:
Our largest department is the Marketing Team. Why? Because to grow your franchise you need support in raising awareness of the brand and service in your local territory and on a national level, the team aim is to generate more care enquiries and recruitment applications and ultimately make the phone ring for you. We provide business support from digital, social and PR perspectives. Below highlights some of the support we offer in this area:
- Access to a dedicated, Regional Marketing Manager to help advise and guide you on local marketing plans
- All franchisees get a pre-built, customisable microsite – one promoting care, and the other for careers
- Subscriptions to SEO & Social Media software’s and a platinum level profile on Homecare.co.uk.
- From a marketing collateral you will have access to our design portal.
People & HR Support:
We are a people business and retaining quality staff is important within this industry. Therefore, we provide all the tools, templates, documents, and systems to assist you in HR and people matters. Below are some examples of this type of support:
- Employment Contract Templates for different roles in your business
- We provide you with a tool where you can upload all job adverts via multiple channels. And we even supply you with job description advert templates.
- Support in the recruitment process, from supporting with getting applications in to helping in the interview process and relevant DBS checks which are needed.
- Regular workshops with your peers on recruitment, for example staff retention
- Regular HR Forum , which is ran by our Head of People and is based on current challenges and shared learnings.
